However, it turned out that Democratic Bulgaria has a problem with the agreement. At 12 without 5, they surprised “We continue the change” with demands for changes to the agreement. Strongly worried about these actions of Hristo Ivanov and Atanas Atanasov, late last night Kiril Petkov and Asen Vassilev went for a conversation with DB.
Unexpectedly, the three parties in “Democratic Bulgaria” came into serious conflict with each other. The two deputies from the Green Movement have insisted on two seats – in addition to the Minister of Ecology and the Deputy Prime Minister for Climate Change. On the other hand, Ivanov and Atanasov insist on important changes in the coalition agreement.
Acquaintances also said that the people of Hristo Ivanov and Atanas Atanasov did not accept the idea of Cornelia Ninova to be a minister and even to hold the post of Deputy Prime Minister.
They were also against her heading the National Assembly, which never happened, as the Socialist leader did not approve of the idea of introducing a rotating presidency. However, her resignation from the chair of the National Assembly became a fact after an e-mail “accidentally” leaked from the DSB, asking for approval from Ninova’s asset to head the deputies.

Legislative proposals to the Council of Ministers are also subject to prior approval. Any idea of the law must be discussed in advance within the relevant expert council and should comply as much as possible with the policies and principles agreed in the agreement, the document says.
