Divia warns of a fake Facebook account offering misleading offers

The management of DiviaMobilités, responsible for public transport in Dijon, warns users against a fake Facebook account incorporating misleading information. This fake account, entitled “Public transport card in Dijon”, offers unlimited subscriptions for a period of 6 months at a price of 2.35 euros. Divia assures that this information is completely false and that it is likely an attempt at fraud targeting users.

This Tuesday morning, DiviaMobilités broadcast an alert message specifying that several victims have already contacted them after being misled by this fake account. Management reminds users that DiviaMobilités only manages one official account and is absolutely not the origin of this page entitled “Public transport map in Dijon”.

DiviaMobilités would like to point out that there is no transport card allowing unlimited travel for six months for such a low price. The alert message calls for vigilance and recommends not clicking on the link offered by this fake account, nor communicating personal information, in particular bank details.

To obtain DiviaMobilités transport tickets, management reminds that users must only go through official channels:

  • L’agence place Darcy,
  • Partner relays,
  • Ticket distributors located in tram stations,
  • The e-store accessible on the website divia.fr.

Management has already reported this fraudulent account to Facebook and encourages subscribers to also participate by reporting the page in question in order to strengthen collective vigilance.

DiviaMobilités emphasizes the importance of being cautious about this type of fraud, which often spreads via social networks by targeting users seeking to benefit from apparent good deals. Divia reminds its users that official information is only shared on their recognized platforms.
