Divers search for body in water recreation area Sumanta | Inland

It is the fourth working day in a row that the police are searching intensively in and around an area of ​​more than 6,000 m2 between Hoorn and the village of Scharwoude. The recreation area De Hulk is one of the areas where Sumanta’s body may have been dumped by main suspect Manodj B. from Hoorn and family members who are co-defendants in this case.

The 22-year-old student Sumanta from Hoorn, who was pregnant at the time, was not seen again after February 18, 2018. The police have strong indications that B., the only suspect still in custody, stabbed her to death because she refused to comply with his request to have the unborn child, which was his, removed.
