A diver found a sunken car with the remains of a young man and a girl who died 21 years ago, LADbible reports.
In 2000, 18-year-old Erin Foster and 17-year-old Jeremy Bechtel disappeared without a trace when they were last seen in a car in Sparta, Tennessee. The investigation dragged on for many years, but the young people were never found.
Jeremy Sides, a diver and author of the YouTube channel Exploring with Nug, has launched his own investigation. He compiled a list of the city’s reservoirs and began combing their bottoms with special equipment.

He found a car in one of the ponds and dived to examine it. As a result, he found the car in which Foster and Bechtel were missing 21 years ago.
The diver reported the find to police, and investigators began gathering evidence by ordering a forensic examination. The relatives of the missing young people were informed about the incident and are kept informed.
Saides said he was glad he was helpful and hoped the discovery of the missing youth would bring relief to their families, who had been ignorant for two decades.
