In the US state of Florida, a diver came face to face with an abnormally large bull shark, and managed to photograph the animal, the Daily Mail writes, BTA reports.
Earlier this month, Jan Moore, 55, practiced freediving (breath-taking scuba diving) off the coast of Jupiter. He was watching bull sharks when an extremely large specimen approached him.
“She looks like a pregnant woman who never misses a meal,” the diver joked.
The predator, according to Moore, gained weight due to the large abundance of fish in early spring. The specimen was a dominant shark and he confidently approached the diver. He managed to take a close-up shot of the bull shark from different angles, including its mouth with a deadly set of teeth.
This species is considered one of the most aggressive and poses a danger to humans. They inhabit tropical and subtropical climates, but can also swim to fresh water and hunt in coastal areas.
