1. Undressed
–
Why is the fashion world so obsessed with nudity? Isn’t that problematic in these times of body positivity and #metoo? And is covering your body so harmless? These are just a few of the many questions that the Fashion Museum Hasselt expo DressUndress asks. Lingerie designer Murielle Scherre is the guest curator.
–
Celebs parading the red carpet in naked dresses and showing off on magazine covers with a sideboob or underboob. Bare breasts on the catwalk. Schoolgirls who go to class in navel shirts and are called to account for it.

Nude is back from the past, and still sparks controversy after so many centuries. But covering the body is not always harmless. The burkini is as offensive to some as the monokini. And if DressUndress makes one thing clear is that that tension is often time-bound. Using phenomenal fashion silhouettes of established values (Alaïa, Versace, Jean Paul Gaultier, Vivienne Westwood …) as well as new talents and from different angles, the expo highlights our relationship with our body and how much of it we want to expose. Revealing!

2. Storm Stromae coming

It’s not so much how long you have to wait for something, it’s more who you are waiting for. Eight years after his success album Square root can you finally treat yourself to Stromaes long-awaited album next Friday (March 4) Multitude. Health!

4. On a crocus trip with Rinus
–
Forget that ski trip to Les Deux Alpes. Or that city trip to Rome. Belgian top artist Rinus Van de Velde prefers to go on holiday in his head, with his rich imagination as the baggage. He calls himself a sofa traveler and takes you with his expo Inner Travels on an imaginary trip.

Until May 15th in spoils.

5. Take-over
–
Bad news for culture and fashion fans: the Antwerp Fashion Museum will be closed for a few months. Although there are also three small bright spots. On March 25, April 1 and April 15, the stair hall will open for an evening-filling art program. And today, February 26, you can go to an exclusive concert by Sylvie Kreusch (photo).
