President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) officially appointed Here Ariotedjo became Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora). Here became the youngest minister in the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet.
Appointment Here held at the State Palace, Central Jakarta, Monday (3/4/2023). The inauguration was started by singing the song ‘Indonesia Raya’. The inauguration of the Menpora coincided with the inauguration of the new Head of BNPT.
The event then continued with the reading of the presidential decree regarding the appointment of the remaining Minister of Youth and Sports for the 2019-2024 period. Jokowi then led the reading of the oath of office.
“For the sake of God, I swear that I will be loyal to the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia Year 1945 and will carry out all the laws and regulations directly for the sake of my devotion to the nation and the country,” said the excerpt of the oath read by Jokowi and followed by appointed officials.
Present at the event were Chief Justice Muhammad Syarifuddin, Chief Justice Anwar Usman, Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Muhadjir Effendy, Commander of the Indonesian Armed Forces Admiral Yudo Margono, to National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
To note, today Jokowi also witnessed the reading of Sunarto’s oath to become Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
Profile Dito Ariotedjo
Dito Ariotedjo is a young cadre of the Golkar Party who is now 32 years old. Dito was born in Jakarta, September 25, 1990.
Reported by the official website of the Golkar Party, Dito Ariotedjo once served as the general chairman of the Indonesian Youth Renewal Force (AMPI) DPP.
Dito is also a businessman who works with Raffi Ahmad. Reporting from Antara, Dito also serves as Chairman of Rans Nusantara FC which competes in Liga 1 2022/2023 and is part of Rans PIK Basketball in the Indonesia Basketball League (IBL).
In addition, Dito was included in the expert team for the Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto.
Previously it was reported, Dito Ariotedjo was one of the names proposed by Golkar chairman Airlangga Hartarto to Jokowi. Apart from Dito, initially the names Ilham Permana and Putri Komarudin were proposed by Airlangga.
