Disway improves its turnover by 3.3% at the end of June

During the month of March, the structure recorded strong demand in this segment, linked to the desire of companies and individuals to equip themselves with computer equipment within the framework of teleworking.

This demand subsequently contracted from the month of April (the first full month of confinement), specifies the same source, noting that the retailers being for the most part closed during this period, sales experienced a slowdown. According to a press release, during the second quarter, Disway’s turnover fell by 4.1% to MAD 355 million, and the Volume segment (desktop and laptop PCs, printing and imaging products, etc.) came out with a figure of business of MAD 285 million, down slightly by 1.4% compared to 2019. Regarding the Value segment (Storage, servers, network, security, etc.), its turnover fell by 17.9% to MAD 61 million , due to the absence of tenders and the ban on delivery to many sites in this segment during this pandemic period.

Note that “despite the particularly difficult context due to the Covid-19 crisis, Disway remains confident in its resilience to limit the impact on its 2020 accounts in view of the current evolution of its aggregates”, the press release concludes.
