Almost casually, the woman approaches her unsuspecting victim, aims the pistol at her head and pulls the trigger. Then she climbs calmly again and as if nothing had happened in her white SUV, while people nearby take cover or flee in a panic.
A camera records the whole thing. The disturbing recording is on the website of the New York Post to see. It testifies once again to the seemingly grotesque armed violence in the USA.
Whether the perpetrator and the woman knew each other and whether there was a motive for the cruel act is currently unknown.

According to police sources, the murder took place on Tuesday evening around 9:40 p.m. local time on crowded Franklin Avenue in the Prospect Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn.
The victim was identified as Delia Johnson, 42. She is talking to other people on the stairs of a building and apparently does not see the shooter coming.
After the crime, she is taken to the Interfaith Hospital, unconscious, but the doctors cannot do anything for her and can only determine that she is dead.
