The clip spread like wildfire on social media
The chapters of the family crisis experienced by the famous Colombian singer, Shakira, did not stop after her separation from her partner, the heart of the Barcelona club, Gerard Pique, last year.
After media reports confirmed the strained relationship between her and Pique’s mother, which prompted her to build a separation wall between their homes, a leaked video that spread like wildfire on social media during the past hours showed where the intensity of the differences had reached.

The clip showed Pique’s mother, Montserrat Bernabéu, holding Shakira’s mouth and pointing her fingers at the street, asking the singer to shut her mouth.
While more details about the incident, its time and place were not known, commentators described the situation as “ugly”, stressing that Pique’s mother is trying to silence Shakira.
However, the owner of “waki yaki” seemed to continue talking, and the movement of her partner’s mother did not force her to change style.
While Pique stood sideways, trying to calm the situation between the two women, to no avail.
It is noteworthy that this is not the first dispute. Earlier, Shakira placed a large doll resembling a witch in black clothes standing on a broomstick on the balcony of her house in Barcelona, which directly overlooks Pique’s mother’s house.
According to the accounts of one of the neighbors in the area at the time, the man confirmed that Shakira played her new song Bizarrap, very loudly to reach her home, and she also repeated the song successive times with the doll remaining on the balcony.
According to press reports, Shakira suffered a lot from Pique’s mother’s treatment of her throughout her association with her son, and that she was very critical of her.
While Pique’s mother blamed Shakira for being too busy with her singing career, accusing her of neglecting her son.
Separation
It is noteworthy that Shakira built a separation wall to isolate her house from the home of her ex-boyfriend Gerard Pique, after the escalation of the differences between them following her last song.
She planned to move to Miami, according to Marca, but she is still in Barcelona for the time being and lives next to her “mother-in-law”, Nazareth Bernabeu.
Shakira, 45, and Pique, 35, separated in June 2022 after nearly 12 years of engagement, as they met at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
Confirmation of the separation came after the international media was abuzz with news of Pique’s betrayal of his partner with a blonde student in her twenties.
The couple has two children, Milan, who was born on January 22, 2013, and Sasha, who was born on January 29, 2015.
