Perumbavoor: A three-and-a-half-year-old girl was raped in Kurupampadi Vattakkatupadi, Perumbavoor. Kurupampadi police have taken two people into custody in the incident of harassing the girl. The natives of Assam have been arrested. The accused molested the daughter of guest workers.
The incident took place at a plywood company in Iringol Pankulam on Friday. It is indicated that the workers here are in custody.
The information came to light when the parents inquired after the child showed physical condition. The baby was then admitted to the hospital. After informing the police, the CCTV footage of the accused walking with the child was obtained. They are being interrogated in detail. Police informed that the child’s condition is satisfactory.
