District office tightened corona measures from December 11th | District of Loerrach

The new general decree supplements previous measures to include exit restrictions and restrictions in retail

After the district has exceeded the 7-day incidence of 200 new infections for three days in a row, an extended general decree will come into force on Friday, December 11th.

As a new measure, there is now an additional exit restriction from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Exceptions are only made for good reasons. This includes, among other things, professional activities, visits to the doctor or accompanying people in need of support.

For the retail trade, when the general decree comes into force, special sales campaigns (e.g. clearance or final sales, special discount campaigns) are also prohibited, where a larger influx of people can be expected due to the event character or the expected additional public traffic.

In accordance with the requirements of the state, there is also the obligation to wear a face-to-face mask on construction sites, including outdoors, if the distance of 1.5 meters to other people cannot be safely maintained.

The restrictions that have existed since December 4th continue to apply according to the new general decree: In the private sector, contact restrictions apply to a maximum of two households and up to five people in total. Children up to and including 14 years of age do not count when calculating the number of people. There are no longer any exceptions for direct relatives who do not live in the same household.

In addition, events are now generally prohibited. Exceptions include religious events and demonstrations, provided that the required hygiene measures are observed.

Furthermore, all sports facilities are closed. This now also includes school sports, study activities as well as leisure and individual sports.

Hospitals and care facilities may only be entered after a previous, current negative antigen test or with an FFP2 respirator or a comparable standard (N95, KN95).

The new ruling replaces the previous one of December 4 and is initially valid until December 21, 2020. If the 7-day incidence falls below 200 for five consecutive days by then, the measures will be lifted early.
