According to the police, a breath alcohol test revealed 2.32 per mille, so that the man’s driver’s license and passenger transport license were taken away.

Investigations revealed that the 60-year-old had already driven about 30 kilometers to the neighboring district of Vorpommern-Rügen and was now on his way back to his hometown further south. The man had to go to the blood test and then be picked up. The public prosecutor’s office will now decide whether and when he will get his driver’s license and permission to transport people back.
