42-year-old with more than 2 per thousand
On April 22, 2022, at around 11:05 a.m., a 42-year-old car driver was subjected to a general traffic check on Hofmühlenweg. Officers noticed the smell of alcohol. A subsequent breath alcohol test revealed a value of over 2 per thousand. A blood test was then carried out on the driver and the driver’s license was secured.
Drunk driving a BMW
A 26-year-old from Zusamaltheim was subjected to a general traffic check by a police patrol in his BMW at around 12:30 a.m. in Zusamaltheim. A breath alcohol test was carried out because he smelled of alcohol. This resulted in a value above the relevant limit of 0.5 per mille, which resulted in a display here. He faces a 1-month driving ban and a sensitive fine of 500 euros.
A moped driver had to give blood
At around 4:00 a.m., a 32-year-old moped driver was subjected to a traffic check on Schützenstrasse because he was driving without lights and a helmet. A clear smell of alcohol was detected. After a breath alcohol test was refused, the officials ordered a blood draw. The driver’s license was also confiscated.
