Since yesterday evening, helpers from the DRK and fire brigades from the Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district have also been on duty in the areas in Rhineland-Palatinate affected by storms and floods.
Mission units of the DRK from the Freiburg and Müllheim district associations with a total of six people and two ambulances and a command vehicle were sent.
In addition, the so-called “Zug flood” from the district with five vehicles and a staff of 16 from the Breisach and Bötzingen fire departments as well as a manager from the district.
The duration of the deployment cannot yet be foreseen. Civil protection in the district of Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald is ensured despite the support in the affected areas.
