Groß Grönau II – Seven games, three points, 14th place in the Southeast District League and the semi-finals in the district cup are at TSV Eintracht Groß Grönau II as an interim conclusion. Nevertheless, the club decided to work with coach Alex Lucanus to finish. The coach most recently came from SC Rapid and led the Grönau team to stay in the league last season.

“Expectation not met”
Lucanus said to HL-SPORTS: “On Tuesday the head of department told me by phone that he wanted to end his collaboration with me. I didn’t meet the club’s expectations on matchday 4. I took over the team in November last year together with my team of Claus, Lea and Tom, saved them from relegation and helped form a team this summer with 14 new additions. We have also already reached the cup semi-finals. It’s not my style, especially not in public, to talk badly about individual people, so I don’t want to comment further here. My team was very shocked after my message and I would like to thank you for all the personal messages and encouragement. Anyone who knows me knows that I always do everything and am very committed and that I don’t always do everything right for the sake of my team. But who is flawless? Now I have to process this for myself first and will definitely get back into the football scene soon. I keep my fingers crossed for everyone from Grönau that they achieve their goals and see you on the pitch.”
