Thrissur: The district collector has ordered an investigation into the complaint that prayers were organized to expel negative energy in the government office. A sub-collector has been assigned to investigate the incident. The incident took place at the District Child Protection Office in Thrissur. The complaint was raised that the prayer was done to expel the negative energy in the office working in the Collectorate. The complaint also states that the District Child Protection Officer led this. Weeks before the end of office hours, the prayer took place at 4:30 p.m.

The District Child Protection Officer had instructed the employees to participate in the prayer. The Child Line workers in the office also had to participate in the prayer. The proposal could not be overruled as the employees except the officers were contract workers. At 4:30 in the evening, the officer informed that he had to attend the prayer unexpectedly. Most of the office workers and contract workers participated in the prayer. There are constant problems and crises in the office. The officer said it was due to the negative energy in the office.
