The director of District 9 recently revealed he’d like to make a Metroid movie.
With The Super Mario Bros. Movie soaring at the box office, many Nintendo fans are wondering what brand Big N will bring to the big screen next. Personally, I think Zelda is waiting for us, but maybe we can also look forward to a Metroid film.
At least Neill Blomkamp, director of “District 9”, would like to direct a film with Samus Aran. From where I know this? It’s simple: he was asked on Twitter if, following the success of Super Mario Bros. in cinemas, he would be interested in making a Metroid film. The director replied with a simple “yes”.
