District 6 of Bobo-Dioulasso celebrated the excellence of the students and supervisors of the year 2023. The ceremony took place this Friday, September 22, 2023 in the premises of the said district.
The best students and those involved in education deserve to be rewarded. This is why, at the end of each school year, district 6 of the commune of Bobo-Dioulasso organizes a day of excellence. The theme of this edition is: “Security and social cohesion for quality education, District 6 is committed”. According to Salamata Compaoré/Sinaré, president of the special delegation of district 6, ” the particularity of this day is the presence of internally displaced students among the winners. This theme challenges us and teaches us that despite the multiple disruptions that we have experienced during this year, the economic difficulties, the security challenges that our country faces, we have remained faithful to our commitments to quality education.
For the patron of the ceremony, Adama Bidiga, president of the special municipal delegation of Bobo-Dioulasso,” it is an emergency of first necessity. Our educational system is challenged each time on its content, but also on its ethical and moral environment.” It invites each actor, like District 6, to commit to quality education with security and social cohesion as a basis. Adama Bidiga reassures that “the municipality will make the resources available, the necessary means to allow teachers to exercise their priesthood in better conditions”.
