The dissidents of ‘Iván Márquez’ denounce that the dissidents of ‘Iván Mordisco’ are committing “outrages” in Huila and Caquetá. They also warn that they are acting “in coordination with Army intelligence.”
Through a statement, the dissidents of the ‘Segunda Marquetalia’, founded by the former peace negotiator ‘Iván Márquez’, denounced “outrages” against the civilian population of Huila and Caquetá by the dissidents of ‘Iván Mordisco’.
“As if they were authority, the bites are issuing IDs to the peasant population, telling them that anyone who does not have that ID cannot move in that area. They have already displaced 10 families. They are charging taxes on head of cattle, hectares of land, and on the running of businesses by small traders. El Pato, Puerto Rico, Santana Ramos in Caquetá; Algeciras, Baraya, San Andrés and Vegalarga in Huila, are the scene of these outrages, and it seems, due to its tolerant attitude, that the State has turned its back on these communities”, they point out.
“In this same statement, the dissidents of ‘Iván Márquez’ lament the death at the hands of the dissidents of ‘Iván Mordisco’ in La Aguililla, Caquetá, of Rigoberto Mendoza, ‘Guara’, ex-combatant of the Teófilo Forero column of the Farc and signatory of the Havana peace agreement.
“The murderers – who today are in peace talks with the government – are the same ones who, in mid-May, shot down two defenseless peasant citizens in the Santana Ramos township and another humble farmer in the region, in the worst paramilitary style. of the Duck”, they state.
And they conclude: “We ask for the solidarity of the peoples and organizations of Huila, Caquetá and Colombia so that the dreams of peace of the peasants of Pato become reality.”
