Luebeck.The problems with card payments can probably be resolved in the coming days. Verifone, the US provider of the failed card readers, has now made a software update available. Since May 24, there had been difficulties with transactions with card payment terminals of the H5000 type.

The payment service provider Payone announced on Wednesday that Verifone had “now made the necessary problem-solving package available, with the help of which the functionality of the affected H5000 terminals should be restored in order to install the modified software update”.
