Disruption of Lyon Metro B on Inauguration Day of Two New Stations

The incident happened on the day of the inauguration of two new stations on metro line B. Traffic resumed at 8:30 p.m.

Line B of the Lyon metro was stopped at 6:12 p.m. this Friday, October 20, indicated the TCL. Lyon transport first mentioned an incident with the automatic pilot system before highlighting a passenger incident. At 8 p.m., the TCL returned to their initial motive.

Traffic finally resumed at 8:30 p.m., but traffic remained disrupted.

Relay buses have been set up between Gare Part Dieu and Hôpital Lyon Sud to compensate for the lack of metros.

This incident occurs on the day of the inauguration of the metro B extension with the commissioning of two new stations, Oullins-Centre and Saint-Genis-Laval-Hôpital Lyon Sud.
