A man presenting himself as a candidate for municipal councilor invaded the live studio of BNT with mayoral candidates for Veliko Tarnovo in the old capital. After the attempts of the host Simeon Ivanov and part of the national television team to expel the man, the live debate was interrupted.

“I am a candidate for municipal councilor on the civil list of the citizens of Veliko Tarnovo. I want to ask – why are you defaming the electoral process?” asked the question in a high tone to the man among the candidates for mayors, among them were the current mayor Eng. Daniel Panov, the contender from “We continue the change-Democratic Bulgaria” (PP-DB) Yordan Terziyski, Milen Mihov from VMRO, as well as the candidates of BSP, KOD and “Bulgarian Rise”.
“The debate was interrupted by a man who burst into our studio there. We expect the situation to normalize and we will transfer to Simeon,” said the other presenter of the BNT morning block Hristina Hristova.

“We had a little trouble, but these are the risks when we stand in public places with public access. All our participants have the courage to stand in front of the cameras in front of the residents and to be in a place where they are close to the people,” Simeon Ivanov said shortly after the man was evicted and the debate continued.
