The FDP foreign politician Alexander Graf Lambsdorff described the increasing rejection of the Nord Stream 2 gas project in Europe as a diplomatic disaster for the federal government. “Poland, the Baltic States, Scandinavia, the USA, Ukraine, the European Parliament, and now France too – everyone is against NordStream2,” wrote Lambsdorff on Twitter. “Viewed objectively, Germany is completely isolated in terms of energy and foreign policy,” criticized Lambsdorff.
