A dispute between two 48 and 26-year-old men escalated on Monday (20th) in a fast-food restaurant in the sand meadow in Alsbach-Hähnlein. The criminal police in Darmstadt initiated further investigations and initiated proceedings on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm.
At around 9:30 a.m., the officers were alerted by witnesses after one of the opponents suddenly drew a blank gun and shot at his opponent. The 48-year-old from Frankfurt am Main suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital as a precaution.
The alarmed police arrested the 26-year-old suspect on site.
He has been taken to police custody and will be released home after all police measures have been completed.
The investigations into the exact background, led by Kommissariat 10 in Darmstadt, are ongoing.
