Before the pandemic, a box of gloves, which usually contains 100, cost a maximum of 3 euros wholesale while now it costs 8.50. Apart from the fact that classic suppliers do not have any, we need about 25 thousand every month and in the search for, thanks to word of mouth, we find a supplier company, from Trevi in the province of Perugia, which tells us to have availability, at € 4.90 per box, of latex gloves that despite being of lower quality in times of shortage are still fine. We order 110 boxes for a cost of 7,600 euros, a sum we paid in advance last week, as requested by our interlocutor. It has happened other times that we had to pay the Dpi in advance, but we never had any problems. This time, however, the company not only did not send us the material, but its owner was nowhere to be found.
Since last Wednesday, when he himself had guaranteed us that the gloves would arrive at their destination by Friday at the latest, we have not heard anything more. Despite various attempts, we do not receive any replies to his phone or to his emails. ”
