At NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, a non-profit hospital, doctors and nurses cheer in the corridor while another recovered patient is pushed in a wheelchair. A doctor had the idea last week each to play the song “Don’t Stop Believin”.
“Every patient discharge gives hope to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens staff. They are encouraged to see their patients recover and go home. It is a positive moment for our employees to see this celebration of recovery, »says Jaclyn Mucaria, president of the New York borough of Queens.
According to the New York Department of Health, over 200,000 people in the state of New York were positive for Covid-19 tested.
