Dispersal of pension resources and welfare support begins today

Mexico City. The Secretary of Welfare, Ariadna Montiel Reyes, reported that as of September 2, the direct distribution of resources to the beneficiaries of the Pension for the Welfare of Older Adults, the Pension for the Welfare of People with Disabilities, and the Support Program for the Welfare of Girls and Boys, Children of Working Mothers throughout the country began through the Banco del Bienestar card.

He explained that for the September-October period, beneficiaries and members will receive bank deposits from September 2 to 21. To provide better service to members, the payment will be made according to the initial letter of the first surname, so it is not necessary to come before the scheduled date, since the resource will be available from the appointed day.

The calendar for the delivery of this benefit will be the 2nd of this month for people with a last name beginning with the letter A, Tuesday the 3rd for those with the letter B, those with the letter C will receive it on Wednesday the 4th and Thursday the 5th, and Friday the 6th for those with the letters D, E and F.

On Saturday, pensions will be granted to those whose surname begins with the letter G, as well as on Monday the 9th, while on the 10th of this month, the distribution will be made for people with H, I, J, K.

For those whose last name begins with L, delivery will be on Wednesday, September 11, Thursday and Friday will be for those with the letter M; Saturday will be for those with the letter N, Ñ, O, P and Q; and distribution will resume until Wednesday 18 for those with the letter R, Thursday for those with the letter S, Friday for those with the last name T, U and V, concluding on Saturday 21 for beneficiaries whose last name is W, X, Y and Z.

The secretary recalled that 14.4 million people receive Pensions and Welfare Programs through the Banco del Bienestar card; senior citizens receive six thousand pesos bi-monthly; people with disabilities, three thousand 100 pesos; and children of working mothers, one thousand 600 pesos.

With this card, the beneficiaries and members of the right to use this card can make purchases in establishments or points of sale with a banking terminal, as well as withdraw funds from tellers and ATMs at branches of Banco del Bienestar without charging commissions.
