CICALENGKA – Entering the rainy season, the danger of mosquito breeding is a threat that needs attention.
Because the potential for exposure to dengue fever mosquito bites in the rainy season is quite large, because puddles or places that can accommodate water will be filled with rain and then settle.
As a result, the Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquitoes or more commonly known as dengue fever mosquitoes will prefer to live in puddles that are clean and protected from direct sunlight, aka puddles that are accommodated unnoticed.
It is known, Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is an easily contagious disease originating from the bite of Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquitoes.
Transmission of dengue fever itself occurs when a mosquito bites and sucks the blood of someone who has been infected with the dengue virus, when the mosquito bites another person, the virus will spread.
In response to this, Cikuya Village, Cicalengka District, Bandung Regency has carried out various tactics to anticipate the emergence of mosquito vectors that can exchange DHF.
Head of Cikuya Village, Dadan Suganda through the Head of Hamlet 3, Denny Darmansyah explained, every RT-RW has been given an appeal to clean the environment.
“From the village, socialization has been given, appeals to RT-RW administrators to pay attention to environmental cleanliness,” said Denny at the Cikuya Village Hall, Tuesday (26/10).
