Dispelling Myths: Adrenochrome is not a Substance Derived from Children’s Blood

1 Gérard Fauré, a reliable source?

Former international cocaine trafficker, Gérard Fauré, 76, is the author of several conspiratorial books in which he accuses the jet-set of being composed of reptilians, half-human half-reptile creatures, and pedophiles.

It thus relays many conspiracy theories such as that of adrenochrome, the drug of “eternal youth”. During the show, he even denounces personalities who would draw their fountain of youth there.

This drug would be made from the blood of kidnapped and tortured children. And according to this theory very popular with conspiracy circles, only Vladimir Putin could save the Western world from this elite in perdition. In “TPMP”, Gérard Fauré speaks of a woman whom he would have had interned for having wanted to sell his daughter to laboratories.

2 Does adrenochrome exist?

So yes, adrenochrome exists but it is a synthetic molecule. “In fact, it’s adrenaline oxidized by air,” explained to AFP on March 13 Professor Jean-Claude Alvarez, director of the Federation of Pharmacology-Toxicology of Paris-Saclay. It is therefore not a drug, and its medicinal properties are not known, it is not sold in France.

In an article published in February 2022, Dr. Joe Schwarcz, a chemist from McGill University in Canada, recalled that the molecule has “no rejuvenating effect and questionable psychedelic properties”.

3 Where does this fake news about children’s blood come from?

This myth dates back to the Middle Ages, according to researchers contacted by AFP. It would even have anti-Semitic overtones since, at the time, the Jews were accused of this practice to make flatbread for Jewish Easter.
