The air traffic controller left the country with his family. His name was listed on the schedule, but his colleagues never saw him.

Belarusian air traffic controller Oleg Galegov, who forcibly landed a plane with opposition journalist Roman Protasevich in Minsk, left the country. About it informs Nasha Niva on Monday, July 26th.

Belaeronavigatsia dispatchers said that Galegov left Belarus with his family. He has worked as a dispatcher in the country since at least 2010. At the same time, at the beginning of July, he was supposed to take a shift after the vacation, his surname was on the duty schedule, but his colleagues never saw him.

“There are rumors that he disappeared. Colleagues cannot contact him: it is impossible to reach him, he deleted his social networks. The authorities did not officially tell us anything,” his colleague told the publication.

He added that Galegov could “play it safe and leave the country.” In turn, the leadership of Belaeronavigatsia knows nothing about his disappearance or dismissal. Another colleague confirmed that he went to stay with relatives in Georgia.

At the moment, journalists cannot contact either Galegov or his wife. They are not answering the phone and have deleted their social media accounts.

Let us remind you that earlier in Belarus in a day liquidated dozens of public organizations… The list of those liquidated includes human rights and journalistic organizations, as well as European integration projects.

It was also reported that Alexander Lukashenko accuses Europe of starting a war… The Europeans are “aiming a hybrid war” against Belarus, Russia and China, being in “US colonial dependence,” Lukashenko said.
