A fire broke out during a Disneyland show on Saturday night in Anaheim, California, causing spectators to withdraw without any reported injuries. The spectacle featured a 45ft-tall Disneyland dragon that suddenly caught fire, causing its head to glow and emit smoke before engulfing in flames, as captured in videos that circulated on social media. The fire damage’s extent is still unknown while the Anaheim fire department is still investigating the cause. Cast members were evacuated, and guests were informed of the situation via loudspeaker as the “Fantasmic” show could not continue due to unforeseen circumstances. Disneyland’s Tom Sawyer Island has been a significant attraction since 1956, allowing fans to enter the fictional world of one of Mark Twain’s main characters.
