“Raya and the Last Dragon” launches today on Disney +. In it the young Raya has to find a valuable dragon jewel in order to chase the evil Druun out of her land.

Disney + is again expanding its range with a few titles in June 2021. This month’s highlights also include the animated family film “Raya and the Last Dragon”, which you can stream for free as Disney + customers starting today. This takes place in a divided kingdom, which threatens a dark threat.
The Kingdom of Kumandra consists of five regions in which different clans live. There were once powerful dragons here that were petrified by an evil force, the Druun. The young warrior Raya (“Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” actress Kelly Marie Tran) unintentionally brings the Druun back to life.
To stop her, she must find the last living dragon. Raya meets the dragon lady Sisu (“Jumanji: The Next Level” actress Awkwafina), who is different than expected. She can also appear in human form and always has a saying in store. Together they travel through all of Kumandra, because they have to put together the dragon jewel that Sisu gives her powers back.
