(TELEMUNDO ATLANTA). The actress Park Soo Ryun, star of Disney +, died at the age of 29 after falling from some stairs.
The South Korean actress, who starred in several K-dramas including ‘Snowdrop’, died over the weekend after suffering a fatal fall down some stairs at a property she was visiting on Jeju Island, where she was to perform hours later, reported Mirror on Tuesday.
Park was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment, but doctors declared her brain dead after trying to revive her. After her tragic death, the family decided to donate the actress’s organs in her honor.
Park rose to fame after making her debut in 2018 in the musical Il Tenore. The talented star made the switch to television in 2021, when she appeared on the series ‘Snowdrop’ alongside Blackpink singer Jisoo.
Her mother said her daughter’s brain was unconscious, but her heart was still beating. “There must be someone who desperately needs organs. As a mother and father, we will be able to live comforted by the idea that her heart will go to someone and that it continues to beat, ”she told local media, according to the Mirror.
The aforementioned medium indicated that Park is the second ‘Snowdrop’ star to lose his life in recent years, as Kim Mi-soo, who also appeared in ‘Hellbound’, died in January 2022.
