Finally appears in mid-December Avatar: The Way of Water in cinemas worldwide. Before you can go to this second part, you can also take a look at the original on the silver screen.
Disney’s 20th Century Studios Brings The Original From James Cameron out again in September. Apart from the fact that younger film viewers get the chance to Avatar looking at the silver screen, the blockbuster can cross an ultimate frontier.
Past $3 billion?
At the original release Avatar nearly $2.75 billion. With previous re-releases, the score was raised to the current standings of $2,847,379,794. This is about $50 million more than the more recent blockbuster Avengers: Endgame.
With the re-release, Avatar to go past the $3 billion mark and that would, of course, be a big break from the record. It would obviously be the first time for a film to cross that line.
At the moment there are five films with a score above $2 billion worldwide, including Avengers: Infinity War, Star Wars: The Force Awakens in Titanic.
