Disney +, Power Services | Disney + reveals the subscription price before launch

The long-awaited electricity service is taking action to secure Norwegian electricity customers.

Disney + was announced to be going knock out Netflix in terms of monthly price for power services.

69 kroner a month is 20 kroner cheaper than Netflix’s cheapest subscription of 89 kroner.

Now, on the other hand, the Disney Group is doing its part to capture the Norwegian electricity market.

Until the day before launch in this country, 15 September, Disney + offers an introductory offer of NOK 590 for an annual subscription. This corresponds to 49 kroner per month.

Tremendous catalog

This is stated by Disney Norway in a press release on Thursday morning.

The ordinary price at launch will then go back to the aforementioned 69 kroner a month – or 689 kroner for an annual subscription.

The service can be a tough challenger to market leaders Netflix and HBO, not least because of Disney’s huge catalog of movies and TV series. It includes, among others, Disney cartoons, Star Wars movies, Pixar animated films and the world’s most unrivaled film series, the so-called ” Marvel Cinematic Universe“, Which includes” Avengers: Endgame “, the most lucrative film of all time.

Disney + also offers content from National Geographic, as well as original content exclusively for the streaming service. Among other things, you will find it critically acclaimed Star Wars series “The Mandalorian”, who at the time of writing holds one IMDB-vurdering at 8.7.

– Will dominate

Experts have already predicted that Disney, which alone accounts for 40 percent of global cinema revenue, and has recently acquired competitor Fox, will in a few years take over the power market.

– We believe that Disney will dominate across the board in the long run. You almost lose your breath when you see how well positioned they are with their various services, said analyst Stephen Paternot in Slated to TechRadar.

The power service was launched on November 12, 2019 in the United States with a bang, and almost two million people had pre-ordered before it was launched.
