“Disney+ Plans Solo Series for Marvel’s Punisher Character: What to Expect”

In addition to the films that will be released in theaters around the world, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been adding to its line of projects a large number of series that add much more information to the entire universe formed 15 years ago.

Although the series that have appeared so far have not been the most remarkable, this 2023 and the next 2024 will bring several quite interesting series, including the most anticipated of all: Daredevil: Born Again. The series starring the bravest lawyer in Hell’s Kitchen has brought back many characters from its previous version from Netflix, including the The Punisher de John Bernthal.

Well, the latest rumors have to do with this mythical Marvel villain, since according to MyTimeToShineHello on Twitter, it seems that Disney+ will greenlight a Frank Castle solo series. As Netflix did, the enormous success and affection of this villain has caused a legion of fans to clamor for a project where we only see this character, although the company of the Mouse has been quick and does not want to waste time knowing the pull of Punisher thanks the series of 2017.

What is a real unknown will be the approach that Disney wants to have with this character, since as everyone knows, Castle is anything but Family Friendly. Daredevil: Born Again will choose to put violence aside to focus on Matt Murdock’s facet as a lawyer. The problem with Frank Castle is that not even the least problematic facet of him is peaceful, since as he himself tells it, his family was murdered by his own country. Daredevil: Born Again is coming to Disney+ exclusively in sometime in 2024 if the delays do not cause a later release.
