Actually, the Disney film ‘Death On The Nile’ should have been released in December 2019, but after the corona crisis threw a spanner in the works, the makers also had to take into account the cannibalism scandal surrounding protagonist Armie Hammer.

Several women accuse Hammer of having uncanny sexual preferences. For example, he would have asked one of his exes to have a rib surgically removed, so that he could eat it. He had also scratched his initials into her thigh, and then licked the blood off. Recently, a woman also accused him of rape.

Avoid extra delay
According to Variety, it would cost the studio millions to replace the actor now. In addition, lack of time also plays a role in the decision. So it would be virtually impossible to re-record all of the scenes in which she can be seen with Hammer without delaying the release date yet again.
