Disney+ free for 12 months: Telekom gives mobile customers gifts

Telekom customers with a private mobile phone contract now receive Disney+ free of charge for a period of 12 months. The gift, worth EUR 89.90, can be picked up by September 30th. Prepaid, landline and business customers are excluded from the promotion.

The network operator is offering the new “Disney+ by Telekom 12M free” option for contract customers who have not yet purchased a Disney+ subscription as an additional service from Telekom or who can terminate it between August 8 and September 30, 2022. The classic Disney + membership in the streaming service itself can easily be paused and exchanged for Telekom’s free annual package. However, Telekom customers who have just booked the additional option for 12 months for 5 euros a month are left in the dark due to the minimum contract period.

Customers can find out whether their own Telekom tariff is eligible for the free annual package on the appropriate website after entering their cell phone number and an SMS TAN. In the FAQs for the Disney + campaign, there is talk of “private customers with mobile phone tariffs (from the 3rd generation).” Prepaid and landline customers are excluded, as are business tariffs. In addition, Telekom states that the Disney+ subscription will end after the free period of 12 months and will not be automatically renewed.
