Disney + does what other streaming services have already done.
If you have a nice 8k TV, you’re probably not happy with the news about streaming services. Previously, services like Netflix, YouTube, Amazon, and Apple TV have previously reported reducing quality. They do this to reduce the load on the Internet. All of these services have a significant impact on the global web infrastructure.
Disney + CEO Kevin Mayer announced that Disney + also downgrades quality. According to the CEO, the quality decreases by about 25 percent. You will notice this difference, especially on large, powerful TVs.
This weekend, you can still watch Disney + in the highest quality. The measure will take effect from next Tuesday 24 in March. The measure applies only to the European market.
Disney + has been available in the Netherlands since November. Since mid-January, the streaming service has also been available in the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain and Switzerland.
