Disney ends with the iconic 20th Century Fox jingle. However, the fanfare and the headlight remain

American entertainment company Walt Disney ends with the 20th Century Fox brand, which is one of the most famous names in the entertainment industry. The film company, which has been on the market for 85 years, was renamed Disney at 20th Century Studios in January and has now renamed 20th Century Fox Television to 20th Television, the BBC said. However, they will keep the famous fanfare melody and the display of the headlight.

Last year, Disney completed an agreement to take over most of Fox’s media activities from media mogul Rupert Murdoch for $ 71.3 billion (CZK 1.6 trillion).

Disney also renamed other television studios. ABC Studios and ABC Signature Studios will now be ABC Signature, while Fox 21 Television Studios will become Touchstone Television.

20th Century Fox Television, which dates back to 1949, was home to some of the most famous television shows, including the original Batman series and the M * A * S * H and Simpson series. The new logo will start appearing in series that will start airing this fall. For already broadcast titles, the original logo and title will remain.

The 20th Century Fox film studio is known for producing some of the greatest films of all time, such as Avatar and Titanic. The brand was founded in 1935, when Twentieth Century Pictures and Fox Films merged.

Disney’s film history dates back to 1937, when the film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was made. It now also includes Lucasfilm, which owns the rights to the Star Wars film saga, or Marvel Studios.

Removing the word Fox from all Disney studios makes sense because it could confuse consumers. Brands such as Fox Entertainment, Fox Sports and Fox News, which have nothing to do with Walt Disney, remained part of the Fox group, the CNN news server added.
