Disney comes with big news and unexpectedly announces a big movie sequel!

Fans of the series of films Ice Age can look forward to more Ice Age! The sixth film has been officially announced and will be released in 2026. This new adventure promises to be another exciting addition to the beloved franchise that started 20 years ago.

The origin Ice Age was released in 2002 and introduced Manny the clumsy mammoth, Diego the sabre-tooth tiger and Sid, the dorky sloth. The film became an unexpected success, grossing approximately $383 million at the worldwide box office.

After the success of the first film, four more sequels followed, each with their own twists and turns. Besides the movies, expansion Ice Age also expressed through television series and several short films. The previous theatrical films have grossed over $3 billion.

So now the sixth cinema film has been announced. Actors like Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Queen LatifahDenis Leary and Simon Pegg return to provide the vocals. Romano, Queen Latifah and Leguizamo announced the news in a short video released by Disney.

The earliest films were produced by Blue Sky Studios and 20th Century Fox.
