One of the episodes of the second season of Marvel Moon Girl and Devilish Dinosaur will not see the light of day, which starred a young trans athlete.
Disney has made the decision not to broadcast one of the episodes of its children’s animated series Marvel Moon Girl and Devilish Dinosaurwhich premiered its first season in Disney Plus last 2023, and which is now in its second season.
According to the team that worked on the Marvel series, Disney would have chosen not to publish the chapter The Gatekeeper of the second season for including a character openly trans when Donald Trump just won the US elections, while the company denies that this is the real reason.
The episode The Gatekeeper introduces us to the character of Brooklynembodied by India Moorea young athlete who wants to participate in school competitions and does not hide her flags or her identity throughout the chapter, which is marked by a palette in which the colors predominate: blue, pink and white.
