President Commissioner (Komut) of PT Pertamina (Persero) Basuki Tjahaja Purnama responded to the statement by the Head of the Budget Agency (Banggar) Said Abdullah regarding the sale of premiums. According to a well-known man called Ahok These people still need Premium type of fuel.
“In terms of economic needs, the people still need premium,” said Ahok when met by reporters after meeting with the Mayor of Solo, Gibran Rakabuming at the Loji Gandrung Official House, Wednesday night (7/4/2021).
Ahok also said that he had removed the premium for the DKI Jakarta area.
“I did delete it (premium) in the past,” Ahok explained.
It’s just that, Ahok continued, in several regions of Indonesia, they still need premiums. However, people are still encouraged to consume fuel whose octane content is higher than Premium.
“But in some areas they really need (Premium). We have just made a blue sky program,” he said Ahok.
As previously reported, the Head of the Budget Agency (Banggar) Said Abdullah criticized the premium type of fuel that was still widely circulating. According to Said, many countries no longer use Premium as BBM. However, in Indonesia this is still being done and produced by Pertamina.
“In this world, only this republic uses Premium, sir. Why do we still use Premium? We still use Premium,” Said said in the RDP broadcast on Parliament TV, Wednesday (7/4/2021).
He also questioned Pertamina, which was still selling Premium fuel and at the same time flicking Ahok.
“Has the government lost to importers? Why Ahok “No, I don’t like the importers, yes, than the others,” he added.
