We discussed the needs of military units, as well as separately drones.
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny provided details of the meeting with American and British partners in an expanded format.
About this Valery Zaluzhny informed in the official Telegram channel.
Together with him during the meeting, in particular, were present the chief of the General Staff, General Shaptala, the commander of the Navy, Admiral Neizhpapa, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, General Budanov.
We spoke with the Supreme Commander of the Allied NATO Armed Forces in Europe and the Commander of the US Armed Forces in Europe, General Cavoli, the Chief of the British Defense Staff, Admiral Radakin, and representatives of partner delegations.
“Cooperation in the military sphere is the key topic that was discussed. He spoke about the situation at the front, about the progress of our offensive and defensive operations. He introduced the plans of the Armed Forces for the near future and in the longer term. We discussed possible enemy actions,” Zaluzhny said.
According to him, the Ukrainian and foreign parties separately focused on the needs of military units: ammunition, weapons, air defense, electronic warfare, devices for remote demining – this is what is needed.
“Another very important issue is drones. Countering enemy drones and building up our own capabilities. We agreed with partners to focus work in this direction. We also discussed the possibility of strengthening the protection of critical infrastructure facilities from enemy air attacks,” he added.
Let us add that Admiral Sir Tony Radakin, Chief of the British Defense Staff, arrived in Kyiv the other day. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine briefed the partner on the situation at the front.
