A major police operation on Thursday evening is causing discussion within a local Facebook community. “What was going on in Aidlingen earlier, so much fuss?” is the question asked in a rather vague post on the “Aidlingen Area Bulletin Board” page. The comments are more of a joking nature, but do not provide any insight into what may have happened where.
An inquiry to the Ludwigsburg police headquarters responsible for the Böblingen district confirmed that there was indeed an operation. “Shortly before 9 p.m., a dispute was reported in the area of Hermann-Hesse-Straße,” said press spokesman Steffen Grabenstein. “Two patrols checked it out, but did not find any quarrelers,” he added with a wink. No further information is available about the evening’s dispute.
Ultimately, the conclusion is: Much ado about not so much.
