So it’s relative. I remember how my father wanted to try a drone on the pretext that it would be for me. I wanted a usable camera (drones don’t take me that much, more like photos / video) and that I will easily pay him to take a bulletproof basic line from DJI. It was expensive for a beginner. So a cheaper lesser-known competition was bought. It turned out that the drone had to take off immediately after switching on, otherwise it would overheat. To my surprise, even during the test outside on Christmas Day 🙂 It lasted a maximum of (!) 10 minutes in the air and before man could look around, he had to land with a weak battery. The video was knocked out, the photos, even with all their will, resembled a max. 10-year-old photo car with a touch of green-violet. I actually had no desire to continue using it. So I would argue about cost-effectiveness.I recently bought a Mavic Mini and I’m pleasantly surprised. Everything works somehow of course. Recording quality, control, endurance … absolutely OK and does not stay in the cabinet. Just signal strength not much. In a disturbed environment, it can surprise unpleasantly and I regret a bit that I didn’t wait for MM2, but well. For beginners, I think it’s just a price. It has a minimum of sensors (and therefore impact protection) and still a pretty decent speed. Yes, I’m ignorant, but I’ve already managed to fly overhead in a tree at full speed. To my surprise, the drone (albeit with smaller scars) was still airworthy without restriction (small flexible branches served as a safety net). I’d rather see it on a drone for the more experienced traveler. That mobility is great and that’s why he won for me. Even with flashlights and a remote control, it fits comfortably in my backpack and with a snack.
