Discussion: Get used to it, says non-binary actor from The Last of Us to critics of diversity

For now, movies and games, which fill us with a lot of diversity, and that around GBT+, I completely avoid. I didn’t drop the L by mistake.

Not that I would immediately jump out of my chair in anger when a gay man appears somewhere in a supporting role, but anything where a prominent element is a gay romance or non-binary characters, I do not want to watch or play.

I’m especially allergic to shows where characters or some actors are chosen just so that the creators can tick off the diversity box.

But if it’s about movies like Kd Enigmy, where it’s about a historical figure and the movie isn’t primarily about some gay romance, it’s a cakewalk.

Films like Lep u to bude (1997), where a homosexual character was not primarily cast to celebrate diversity, are in some cases so watchable.
