Leksand came to Karlstad with four straight losses in the SHL in the bag when they faced Färjestad on Saturday night, an evening that was Bo “Kulon” Lennartsson’s tribute night.
And then it looked like you were going to break the suite. Patrik Zackrisson gave Leksand a taste start in the second period when he scored after just one minute and ten minutes into the third period, Max Veronneau was able to make it 2-0. Here and there, Leksand stormed towards three points.
But that did not happen.
Only 41 seconds later, Jesse Virtanen was able to reduce, a goal that was discussed when the Leksand camp thought that Kasimir Kaskisuo was hindered in his work by an opponent.
– I can not understand how that goal can be approved, how will he get his picking hand out there, Leksand coach Björn Hellquist wonders after the match.
And when the home team Färjestad gained numerical superiority in the final stages of the period, Joakim Nygård put full speed into goal from one corner and was able to force a draw puck with four minutes left to play.

And there would be more.
With only 52 seconds, JVM defender Joel Nyström thundered in 3-2 to Färjestad, also in numerical superiority, to shoot three new points to FBK – the team’s third straight.
A goal that came after an expulsion at Leksandsbacken Patrik Norén.
– We have had a bit of trouble in powerplay lately but have started to get started in the last three or four matches and started to score a little more goals. I think we have a better puck pace and do not have such fixed positions now. it was incredibly nice to see it go in, says Nyström.
