Luca Corberi has just announced that he has handed in his racing license to the FIA and that he has ended his racing career immediately. The kart driver also openly apologizes for his ‘scandalous actions’ during the Karting World Championship.
Corberi was seriously discredited last weekend after two shocking videos of him surfaced on the internet. The Italian kart driver was extremely frustrated after he retired from a touch with Paolo Ippolito and then decided to take matters into his own hands. The first video showed a frustrated Corberi with a bumper in his hand, waiting for the field to pass again. Thereafter threw He hits the bumper in question against his opponent’s kart. “I want to apologize to the motorcycle community for what I did,” Corberi writes on social media. “There is no excuse to explain why I have done such an outrageous thing.
